Owner and founder John Keane began his Professional Liability Insurance career at Aon in 1985. With one insurance company and a handful of clients, John built a base of more than 300 clients over the next five years.

In 1990, with the opportunity to manage the Professional Liability Department at Blaine Braswell & Associates, John moved his business across St. Louis and spent the next five years developing a base of 800 clients and a staff of five dedicated Professional Liability Specialists.

As the Professional Liability Department grew in size and expertise, it was a natural next step to form The Keane Insurance Group, an agency dedicated to providing specialty insurance products to the Healthcare Industry.

Since its inception in 1995, The Keane Insurance Group has grown to be the one of the nation's largest brokers of medical liability insurance.
